Meet David
David is a new counselor, and he is super excited about…you guessed it…superheroes! He hopes that our campers will see that they are the real superheroes, and that Batman and Robin should be dressing up like them! He enjoys superheroes because it focuses on a theme of empowerment and will provide children with a great feeling of increased ability. And Batman is his most favorite!
David has a shared history with many of our campers, and he’s an advocate for children – so he’s very happy to be a part of Camp CARE.
Bet you didn’t know that:
- David has two dogs, Hotep and Prince.

- He love love loves (that’s three ‘loves!’) to read and dance. He also enjoys playing basketball and soccer.
- The craziest thing he’s ever done is hiked WuTong Mountain in China. Wow! Guess the big hill up from the waterfront won’t bother David too much!
- If David could only eat one food for the rest of his life, he’d eat something healthy. Grapes!
- If he could have one superpower, it would be telepathy, so he could learn from other people.
- Above all else, his life philosophy is Hakuna Matata. We love that!
